That’s a fair question and summation Italian… it’s becoming very obvious to me that many here are just in denial about where we find ourselves right now..

When I check the board, it seems to be the same voices, banging the same drum, about how we are all about to be saved by a bid any minute… trying to shore up each other’s confidence, as the share price continues to fall.. any critical analysis has gone out of the window, in favour of back slapping, it will all be ok one day soon, type of messages.. Clinging to hopes of a bid, to rescue the shares performance over the last 12 months is all many have left… and it seems only holders here can see a bid happening soon, as no financial institutions are piling in expecting one.

any solution Maxit can engineer, will be judged by them, against their recent 16p entry point.. almost certainly leaving many on here dissatisfied, when or even if, it happens.

This is not going higher than even 50p in my opinion… we will be lucky to see over 40.

Absolutely not.. but they are required if the bidding war everyone seems to be hanging their hats on is to happen.. I have said before, I could easily see them walk away and focus on M&A of a larger scale, with faster routes to profits.. we are small fry in their scale of acquisitions.

Leaving us in real need for a plan B.

I am happy we are to monetise in some way…. And It needs to happen fast. But as an exploration company we should be targeting some of our other supposedly great prospects now we have some funds… a plan B, so to speak… surely we are capable of doing more than one thing at once.. the Strategic review can’t be keeping everyone busy.

And if they decided to let it go and walk away… what will our price drop to?

Look beyond the echo chamber here of ‘A bidding war will hopefully begin soon’ and we have no plans announced for our new funds.. just Plan A above.

‘Plan A’ wait for a bid, and for Plan B, see plan A…. no plans to restart exploration drilling, just see plan A.. It’s little wonder the price is falling.. it’s no confident business plan.

The market has zero belief in our story any more.. it has no expectations of any bidding war any time soon, and it’s difficult to see when we may return to the 30s without some great drilling results from somewhere.. looking pretty grim unless Maxit can generate our monetisation event, and do it quickly, otherwise we slide south.

From a purely personal perspective the smaller our remaining percentage the better as our costs would be reduced the same, and I think, would be viewed better by the markets.

Why just circa 40p? We have been diluted since, and the reason for the spike to 40p previously was Porvenir excitement… which has faded away, and its PEA has just been buried.

Without a JV of circa 90% to a major, or a possible sale, I don’t believe Solg have anyway back to the 40s without new exploration finding something like Warintza.. and currently, we are an exploration company that is doing no exploration.. and despite announcing recent funding, didn’t commit to restarting any…. I believe if they had announced plans to drill our asset next to Warintza, whilst holding the strategic review, our price would not be sub 20p right now…

I feel it’s almost like our board have gone ‘all in’ and put everything on ENSA, and currently have no plan B.

Fomad, I can’t see the share price getting much higher than 40p if a JV is announced with a supermajor…. and as it’s already been said.. it probably won’t stay up there very long, as many race to bank the spike. Any JV would have to be fully funded by the major to see any sizeable jump in share price to the 40s, ideally with Solg paying costs from future profits, rather than up front dilution and debt.

Speculation is all we can do right now I guess..

Well the Chinese are due to complete their DD by thursday.. so that’s our next probable RNS, unless someone makes a move to prevent them getting a seat at the table..

I admit , I don’t understand how we were able to print such a large number of shares for Jianxi, due to previous AGM resolutions without BHP NCM approvals.

Let’s assume the Canadian regulator is demanding the merger be completed in the way you suggest, and the cgp shares are cancelled. Surely Solg can just reprint those shares once the merger is complete and sell to whomever they originally intended… one would have to assume, they did originally have plans to use them in some way, as they were so specifically referred to as being loaned early in the proposal of the merger.

If they do sell them, I’d prefer they went to the Chinese… bringing in a 4th major would sound great, but could lead to a standoff between them all, that could last far longer than my waning patience..

BHP paid 45p when we where nowhere near that.. in the 20s I think.
