There has not been any positive sounds coming from any of our team… it’s all Irwin and Sangha.. being on the inside, doesn’t stop you from PR and promotion regarding any positive up coming near term events as long as you don’t reveal market sensitive details….

I never thought that 7 weeks on since the merger announcement we would still be waiting for the CGP vote to be put forward.. I’m no corporate expert, but this feels like it’s dragging out to me.

Pedro and Jose down at the fish farm are probably sat wondering what the future holds, same as us..

One thing is sure, if no valuable monetising event happens within the next few months, If the Sangha crowd can not generate a fair value exit point, then we are looking at a painful 2023.. The Chinese could sit back and wait, just like BHP.. who’s to say they won’t?

It’s probably fair to assume that at that price point, there was no other major interested, vying for the opportunity.

I’m not entirely sure BHP wouldn’t walk away if the Chinese bid 40p. I could see that.. I don’t care as someone gets this price to 40 or over.

To be fair.. 25 million shares I can accept, as in be grand scheme of things it’s not a huge amount.. and I’ve called for the introduction of a third supermajor for a while to break up BHP and Newcrests stranglehold… But at 16p??? Come on.. that’s a shocker.. and I think it says more about the deflated position Solg has found itself in after all these years. Investor fatigue is in full force here.. just give me 40p plus and I’m out

BHP had to pay 28 and 45p and that was way back before Porv or PFS..

I’m going to guess the other 25 million went to Valuestone or split between Sangha and friends..

I hope your right Red…. But as I’ve said before, I have serious doubts over our boards ability to close a deal.

The merger is not complete, Osisko is not complete, and this mornings deal is not completed… all hang on DD.

Announcing the SR when we were cashed up and in the 30s, could have been transformational… now we seem desperate

Devils advocate here add, maybe he could see the PFS addendum wasn’t working, and knew the inevitable direction of travel of our share price.

If is a big word… but if the Strategic review had been announced waaay back, at original PFS time, (which I was screaming for and would have made perfect sense) we would be in a far stronger position to be inviting suitors to our asset.

I’m clear, it’s our boards appalling miss management that has brought us to this level.

It’s also nice to see the guy now in charge has a large stake in the game… Darryl chose not to buy any shares..

I agree DBW…. But if this was the plan for the near term.. why raise such a large sum of 50mill by slicing off a percentage of future profits for any potential suitors? My only guess, and it is just a guess, is Sangha and his mates feathering nests

Solg have essentially said everything stops until the outcome of the Strategic review and Monetisation process.. So without any merger news, or any other corporate progress news, our share price now does what it always does in a time of no news.. it will slowly drop continually.

I hope the new guy wants the SR wrapped up as quickly as I do..
