interesting comment from Eddie yesterday - he must mean that they are probably lining up a banking facility... The market can now see that there is significant and growing volume of daily production and revenue. What is fast becoming obvious is that the measured way in which oil production is now being brought on stream is being very well managed and that costs are being contained. Last night, we talked to Eddie Gonzalez, CEO and he was at pains to point out that �the company does not need a placing�. Our medium target price currently stands at 2.1p, which is well underpinned by a conservative analysis of Mayan�s oil interests and the value of its stake in Deloro Energy (Asphalt Ridge). Exactly - Eddie has said his near term production target is 300-500 bopd - based on what he said yesterday, 300 bopd should be with us very soon. That will be the start of the re-rate. The market simple cannot ignore that. More patience for sure but imo not long to wait. And yes, he does have some other very ambitious plans. But one step at time - he is working the David Khan way, being quite meticulous a sustainable roll out. Shame the weather has delayed things but with the bad weather behind them they are now cracking on. I doubt Eddie is bothered one bit by his recent buy in at 20% more than current share price - he knows what is around the corner. Bring it on.

Then starting work overs on up to 12 FH this quarter. If my arithmetic is correct MYN should have up to 24 producing wells by the end of THIs quarter. How many barrels then? 500 plus imo. And that's excluding Asphalt Ridge. The penny is going to drop soon for all almighty re-relate. Yes it's all pointing to a revolving bank facility near term - my understanding is that 100 bopd is usually sufficient to get this rolling...so anytime from now. When this happens it will give confidence for many more to invest - the market today is saying Mayan is a hold until we know more about financing plans. So a revolving credit facility to move Forrest Hill new wells/production forward etc will also be another huge milestone - i.e. using assets to facilitate future work-in -progress. Second stage Deloro - that as we all know will be a chunky investment for Mayan but it is while off yet, they need to achieve stable 1,000 bopd first. If Mayan need to raise for that then it that will be at significantly higher share price than today, recognising the 80 bopd net to Mayan or circa $150K top line monthly revenues from AR + add in Forest Hill/Stockdale. Interesting times.

The AIM-listed oil and gas company said its wells at the Forest Hill Field produced 187 barrels of oil and 30 barrels of salt water in 24-hour period last Thursday. The production rate was ahead of expectations, Mayan Energy said, but it anticipates a decline in upcoming months. The group also installed two heated oil storage tanks with a total oil storage capacity of 510 barrels and one water storage tank with 300 barrels water capacity at the Forest Hill Field. With this facilities, Mayan Energy said it will be able to accommodate up to four loads per day of up to 180 barrels of oil per load. Looking ahead, the company said it expects to identify additional three wells in the area in the coming weeks and select 8 to 12 workover candidates for its Phase 2 work programme beginning in the second quarter of 2018. That would make sense now they have initiated stabilised production. It would also (obviously) facilitate a continuous roll out of planned additional wells without the need to raise more money. As the production grows, so does the facility. Looking forward to that news.
