Sharedealer....Another French pcr company is well in France and has mobile labs everywhere. So they will pick up most of the business unfortunately

Hart....well if LFT tests can only pick up 70% of normal covid, be interesting to see the data for this new strain

1) will the cheap quick lift tests pick up this new variant ?

2) Is this worthy of an rns to confirm ncyt pcr can pick up this new variant ? After all they did rns they can pick up on mink and bird flu! I take it this is a different variant and no one in the UK has so far tested positive for mink or bird flu.

Eddie....if what you say is true, why would the bod go through all the hassle and expense of a sale just gain a few extra pence on the sp, when they could mine themselves and for years to come make massive profits ? We will be sold for multiples of the current sp

Bob....yes, but we don't know what the new variant is yet,it might not be the y453f....could be something completely different, no doubt we will here more this week....hopefully ncyt can react very quickly....I suspect they also knew about this before today's announcement

No, the rns as I read it, new tests for mink and bird flu....the new variant doesn't come from those two things. Does ncyt pcr rest pick up the new variation? If it does, be great if they confirm this by rns
