Hi Task only just got on to look but yes N Chf looks like its gone up ( on the 4 hr but now heading into resistance......... basically right now its at a classic TP point so will probably retrace a bit before it tries to break that resistance.

you really need a higher daily high to be sure

Hi Guys im back, managed a few F/ X trades (NU) whilst away and grabbed enough profit for a few extra days hols.

Now i am decorating, thought i had escaped but no the waft of emulsion is drifting up my nostrils as i type .......

Ok cant really see any thing long term trend wise yet on F/X...... lots of Fed news going on so will wait until tomorrow at least before i look again

Task... yes Core spread s first time live account ...previous was demo ....really good tight spreads and low commission.... Only downside is indices close at market closing time so wont trade indices with them but F/X is excellent with fast movement....

. Agree trends are the way to go but you need some faith whilst they are developing or can always wait for the major supports to break ... daily candle for longterm hold and trail stop down or close parts out ..

Hi Task thanks for commiserations. I think i have found out why its so bullish. they believe it will get on the ftse soon . Its my experience of when a share is trying to go from the AIM to the FTSE its very bullish ... then once its on the ftse it slows down and often drops... We will see................. also took a heavy loss on a stop NG on Friday . I really wasn't expecting it to go that low!! but !!

When you say 100 units on your B&M demo trade are you meaning £100 a point. ( like the equivalent to 10 x standard lots?) Just imagine if you had gone long then. Good to see you back on the market and very well done on your trade. I have now gone live with Core Spreads, been getting some very good results re their spreads and commissions. So trialling them out live

Hi Task good thinking keeping away from the tress .. there are some down round my way and some telephone lines as well .

B&M I will be happy at 4.60 to be honest but if it gets there and there is some momentum I split the trade and take try to take it to £4.20 .
I had a good day on the EG today managed to trade it off trend line breaks on the 5 and 15 min

Thanks Task also got a TP on UJ short today as well....... I am back in EG short with a TP 0.89850 but its not playing ball at the moment.............. Good for Siemens and good for LGEN win win all round but hasn't done squat for the SP so far .. As long as they keep kicking out those divis that is the main thing
