Hi Task because I've got nothing else better to do I've looked at your AV S/B trade .....If it had of been on IG the margin or deposit was £6985 .Its actually 20% of the real price give or take a smidgen...
I think what catches us out all too often is that the movement on SB deposit is the same as if it was the full actual price..
Anyway that trade of yours has given me some ideas!!

HI Task GS all............. News from Opti ..........wasn't on the markets yesterday or not going on today.

The old back and ham string continuing to paly up again, so sitting in front of my machine not a good idea.

Mars wasn't a problem i sold out into the rise last time and i don't think ill get back in at least not for now...

Really glad i was out of OTB as it dropped even more today .
CPI looks like its maintained that 39p price Task.

HI Kong1. Yes it dropped a lot more so I was happy ( well not happy as such ) to get stopped out where I did.
My losses are now fixed, as i am trading with a plan and live to fight another day .
I will check out AVACTA its not a company I know so I will do some research..

I didn't know anything about cpi but that was my thought too, up to 40 p or down to 36 p. .

Margin I think I have a formula somewhere but I know there are different tiers for higher amounts .

Ok Task ill see what you come up with .. re you AV trade on margin equivalent of 10000 shares at £3.48 equals £34,800. so i can see why you got in and out quick. I know its absolutely no different to what we do on F/X but for some reason the leverage doesn't seem to compute like it does on equites

HI Kong I got stopped out . I never use to have stops on my shares as i watched them and bought and sold them in a timely manner.
The drop in my P/F re the pandemic gave me a different mind set .
Yes the nomads shouldn't have allowed this but they did and i had all this and worse with Neil Woodfords equity funds sometime back

Hopefully ill be back in here when I think thigs are a bit more settled.

Volcano, I think you are missing the point . just because you cant go on holiday it doesn't mean you shouldn't buy shares in a holiday company.
You cant go to a pub for a drink but you can still buy shares in breweries
You cant book in to hotels but you can still buy shares in hotel companies
You cant go to certain shops but you can still buy shares in those companies.
Plus of course you can still book holidays abroad , you may not get to go when you want to but of course you can still book them, which makes your post a nonsense

HI Kong I totally agree a disgrace. I bought into these yesterday for a longer term hold. Now i am wondering if this really low price will get more people buying and push the price up. That my hope for now but ill be watching it very closely

Hi Task yep Vod was just a snatch. I don't like it to trade as a rule its too slow. On the beach messed up the entry, some news came out at 1ish about covid restrictions and self isolating in covid airport hotels etc and it dropped. .. Its how much more it will drop before i bail or hold .. il watch it ............. I can see why you might go short on the GJ on the hourly but on the daily its bullish

Took a £3 a point S/B on Vod this morning from S1 to close that gap and it did just now so maybe fish n chips tonight, or at least a bag of chips... lol

Hi Gs hope you are doing ok and that's good if you are not snowed in ......... Task i was only in EG for 30 mins for small profit @ 1 a point venturing back in to F/X very, very slowly, as still concentrating on my P/F.

Bought into On the beach today OTB (for a longer hold i think) they seam to be financially sound and just a matter of waiting for the holiday explosion which is bound to come at some point.

HI Task yep getting socks on is really difficult and other unmentionable items too. Never thought of drinking water for the back a good tip and probably good for the kidneys as well.
MRI scan shows Ive got two damaged dics so i do struggle a bit, too much physical work from the past......
I got all excited with Booho but yep i spotted the S1 and have bottled it like a proper day trader for a very small profit. but better than a loss .. ............good to hear your new tweaked system is working great news .
