Technically i believe this is a good time to buy . I think this share would move up faster if the dividend was reduced.
Exceptionally high yields can put off growth investors but still this share is very much oversold and it just needs some good news from the BOD lets see what the 7th October brings
So Boyobach we have filled the gap from March 2020 and its gone beyond.
Above us is just nice clan open spaces (technically speaking)
There is no reason why this cant just keep going up but it wont be in a straight line . There will be profit taking on the way but shorting oil now would be fool hardy .
We are nowhere near full capacity for oil yet. I suspect another two years of oil prices grinding back and forth but upwards whilst we readjust back to normality.
Wait until the big jets get in the air thrusting across the pond to the US . We are at the beginning of an energy crisis and as the world opens up the demand for fuel will exacerbate.
We all need energy. Most of us need our cars, vans ,lorries to run on petrol or diesel for now.
Its going to be many years before the EV takes hold. Right now Oil is king
Hi Armani good to see you.... Shell riding high... Im still nowhere near in profit on this one yet ( re buying pre pandemic prices) but will hold on for rise and divis and potential special divi.
I know we promised each other an email back in July..
Ive been distracted with the EZJ right issues and today ive taken my second decent profit this year on RR. . Its celebrating down the pub now ( Marston's) of course as holding Mars shares .. Have a good weekend everybody... Opti
from what ive been told by my broker by accepting the RI the money will leave my account on the 23rd of Sept the new shares will then amalgamate with my existing ones on the 28th of September.
We should see some action from the 23rd as money
is going into into Easyjet in blocks. Then from the 28th the volatility should settle down
Thanks for update GS Im number 4 with Mars and still in profit ........ All good news from you via email .
Ive been a bit preoccupied this last week negotiating the EasyJet rights Issue.
Should all get completed for me tomorrow.
Opti
Yes lets hope so only just looked at the RNS from this morning.
Ive been a bit distracted with the EasyJet rights issue but as a rule Chesnara gets a good deal for their share holders..
yep onwards and upwards
If anybody is trading with X-O.co.uk (Jarvis investment management) just phoned them and they said they would be sending out an email today with details of how participate in the Rights Issue
Are all All things ok with you GS? Opt
Yes Hi Taverham its been a winner up to now and i believe it will continue.
I haven't even bothered trading it as its in a relatively tight range.
I just pick up some more now and again on the dips. GL all
Yikes..... Just looked at this superb increase today a lovely green candle on the charts .
CSN is my longest term hold share.
I bought into this in 2014 for dividend income and it hasn't disappointment on that front It was one of those buy and hold types of shares but hasn't had a lot of growth of late. but continued to pump out divis all through the pandemic.
Would be great to see this get back to £4 and beyond . In the meantime the dividends continue and increase annually.
Taken from Half year report .
John Deane, Group Chief Executive commented
"The interim dividend increase of 3% to 7.88p we have announced today is our
17(th) annual increase which is an enviable track record.
"I have been pleased with our continued financial stability during the period
combined with further asset value growth being delivered. The clear
expectation of future divisional dividend remittances means I am pleased to
report our dividend growth strategy remains unchanged.
"We completed another acquisition in the Netherlands and have successfully
transferred the policies onto the systems of Waard. We continue to actively
seek out and engage on opportunities in our core markets and other appropriate
territories and are increasingly optimistic that there are good opportunities
for us.
"Our closed books continue to provide a strong and reliable source of cash
generation and dividend. I am also encouraged by the material recovery in
Scildon's surplus levels which creates significant future dividend potential.
Yes seen_it_D_ ........ some surprising movement and volume on this share today for no obvious reason.
As you say could be sentiment.
Ive been a holder of CSN for a good few years and the dividends it has kicked out have been truly amazing.
Whilst they continue ill hold but always nice to see the SP increase
bald eagle most investors in here are happy to see this share go up and down.
When its down we buy on the dips, when its up we take profits and then reinvest those profits again on the dips.
Its a market but with this share if it languishes in the lows for a period of time we are still happy as its churning out a brilliant dividends Basically its a win win share.
