I could be well wide of the mark, but it looks like they are holding the price back, and I would suspect they want to see the trading update first. If it is as good as I think it will be, this will fly. Have now managed to achieve my target of 1.2 million shares.

clearly, that is your call, but for what it's worth, all of the indicators I look at are pointing to a recovery hence my reason for building a holding here. I would suggest you take another look at the interim results and read the forward looking statements and then decide. Good luck.

The interims were released on the 14th Dec 2010. We are waiting for the trading update for the second half of the year, which includes the Christmas figures.

The company issued a trading update on the 14th January last year. Given the size of the business now, and the importance of the Christmas trading period, I would expect one within the next 10 days.

purchase has just gone through at 1.43p. I think we could be going higher today.

and with most of the sells being buys...this could well go higher today and continue to recover ground. Still extremely cheap in my opinion, and should increase sharply if the expected trading update gives the positive news that has been mooted for the on-line electronic goods sector.

at 12:29:30 secs it was moved down to a mid-price of 1.25p. Looking even better for next week now!!

the share price has been walked down to a mid-price of 1.30p today. My New Year's prediction. The share price will move up on Tuesday morning on very thin volumes!!!

all of the reports I am reading are pointing to a very good period for the on-line electronic goods sector, and judging by the number of daily android connections worldwide, it could prove to be a bumper period for those specialising in the mobile phone market!!!! I have added again this morning, and am almost up to my 1 million target. Anybody heard any whispers as to when the trading update will be released.

putting the buys through as sales. In my view they are trying to panic PI's into selling. We have seen it all before, so I can only assume the Christmas period has been much better than expected.

the MM's continue to try and push the price down!! One or two reports coming out on the winners and losers in the Christmas selling period. I believe Expansys will be one of the winners, and the trading update should prove to be the tonic for the share price. I have added again this morning...at the current buy price of 1.33p, it would be rude not too!

Given the increased size of the business, I would expect to see a trading update in early January. As you say, the weather has been kind in the UK - so far, and looking at the website, there is quite a lot of coverage for Expansys in their respective market places. Maybe the current share price reflects the current unstable market, and news of a busy Christmas period may just be the tonic that is required to spark some life into the share price.

Good point....I too have added further both yesterday and today. I find it quite amazing that an internet company that is making profit and has cash can be valued at the current price. Have a good weekend also.

on a google search, a profit forecast for 2012 from Cenkos Securities for £4m. I have tried to substantiate this from further research, but am unable to find the broker report! Anybody registered with them who can confirm this figure?

the outlook for the second half: We are encouraged by the improvements across the Group in the first half and are seeing the strategic benefits of the 2010 acquisitions flowing through. We are focused on building on this momentum through the second half of the year which includes the retail division's important Christmas period. According to a broker forecast from Barclays, they have pencilled in a £3m profit for the full year, which would put us on a p/e ratio of circa 6 at today's share price. If they only make £2m, this would still be only a p/e of 9!! We could do with a new broker forecast to confirm existing assumptions.

Having had time to sleep on it....I have now decided the MM's are holding the price back in order to trigger T20 trades at a lower price!!! I don't really believe this, but there has to be an explanation somewhere, as the fundamentals of the business in my book point to a higher share price.

My searching for reasons for the static share price leads me to believe that it is being held back in order to facilitate a 'director's buying spree'. If we don't see an RNS in the next couple of days, I will have to revert to a conspiracy theory .
