Difference between highest bid and lowest ask. A larger spread is an indication volatility and of lower liquidity i.e fewer shares being actively traded. MM's profit off of the spread so the wider it is the better for them, but they are always willing to buy/sell shares ('making the market'). Harder to day trade at a larger spread due to bid/ask differences.

Don't know how accurate that is but its about all I know haha.

The performance of Gold has been mental recently. Just goes to show how much of a safe haven it really is during times of volatility and will continue to be for all of time probably.

Yes, Big K, and that is partly my concern too.

Firstly, we can't place too much emphasis on an X post as there is no guarantee behind what is said, and secondly one must wonder why it was deleted as well - that in itself raises a few questions to me. But then again, it would be a strange thing to completely lie about because they must have seen/heard something to prompt them to think that way in the first place, so I doubt it was a random post.

Time will tell, but if it does turn out to be true & an RNS follows it will be a significant step forward for the company.

Yes, MK, if the mining licence is true & approved then as you say Riversgold should drop an RNS and it would be significant.

Just curious as to why you are taking a negative stance. As an investor, shouldn't you be confident/optimistic?

A better question to ask might be - are you even invested in the first place?

Aren't you over in WSBN as well being just as negative there as you are here, Bearded?
