Discretion is the better part of Valour, The North is not TSCO Heartland - it's MRW's. 'They have tied me to a stake; I cannot fly, But, bear-like, I must fight the course'. DP was not the Sharpest Girl on the Till & I said before he went, more stores would have to close, this, Potts has done. But hard choices remain. MRW are too small, (500 stores) to interest anyone but the LADS, except as part of a break-up, when SBRY & Asda MIGHT be interested, on a Pic 'n Mix basis.. One of the first actions of Tesco's new FD, was to ensure long term credit, so an interest-rate rise is catered for,IMO. We have 1000's of stores in every category, including 'M local stores which DP, belatedly/frenziedly had started to prioritize - often in rubbish locations. Why would Tesco, which claims to make 1m plus out of Online, wish to tie-up with MRWOcado's desperately expensive, loss-making (20yr?) deal??
