What are the legal requirements for a private wire Telephone man? Does it need a government licence or approval?

Conversely, I hope ITM will consider installing EV charging points to double up on income. Someone said this might be a hazard but I don't agree if they are spaced sufficiently apart.

It looks as if service providers like ambulance, buses, refuse etc. and fleet vehicles companies will pave the way for private hydrogen vehicles to rival EV's. The advantage for them is they can have a single filling location for all their vehicles as their operation area is small. I hope this will encourage ITM , Shell etc. to start installing HYDROGEN filling stations along side the promised EV charging stations which I have noticed in many motorway service stations now. I am really surprised that the OXYGEN "by - product" has not been mentioned before Spice Merchant. It should certainly have a ready market in the medical sector. The idea of improving water quality is a nice idea and welcomed by the fishing fraternity! Would have to keep it well away from the stored hydrogen though!!

Yes just seen that and interesting posts on their website. Also a great article in the Telegraph about a real community entrepreneur on a remote hebridean island who manufactures his own Hydrogen from his own (I think )wind generators AND has made his own hydrogen car for the benefit of his island community! Magnificent! Take note local councils and government! The guy also featured on one of the "Coast" programs now on the "Yesterday" channel Not having entered the 21st century with catch up TV I only caught the last few minuets. Sorry, I should have put a new title I think. ITM have not said anything about the Oxygen produced. Surely this is very pure and saleable. Also they could back both horses of Hev and ev vehicles by having charging points in their forcourts.
