Peace. You can blame the founder for the ridiculous spread, (he owns a lot)although he was offering to sell the company and thought £10/11 was too cheap. Could be some consolidation in the sector. Will see if there is any more detail on results presentation next week

Placings are always a drag. I didn’t see this coming. I guess business has been a bit slower than they expected. The good news is they are a very promising company with a relatively small number of shares. Their 25 percent stake in monument could also prove very fruitful with two therapeutic clinic trials to treat schizophrenia in next six months and a possibility of a massive grant next year. I expect to hold for another 18 months and will be richly rewarded. This is an exceedingly frustrating process but the market potential is mega. More than likely be able to top up below placing price. Make no mistake they have some serious backers

Aim you are not correct on either of you points. A billion is 1000 million. Anic currently have under 80 million shares in issue which is not actually many for a company this size. The CEO quite clearly stated there were not only no plans to raise further funds , but they would not consider it an option at the current share price. I believe there are still exercisable warrants that run out soon. The deadline dates have been extended once. I don’t know if they can do it again. Those prices were at 25p and 30p from memory. The nav is about 100 percent higher that the current share price. Any single holding they have could be worth their current market cap if proved commercial . There is a long way to go yet.

Seems like Mr Farrier agrees Baggy. Has increased holding to over 7 percent yesterday.

Totally get the temptation and sense in top slicing. I’m banking on that decision being taken for me in due course with a buyout. In the meantime hoping they offload more of that cash on shareholders . Elementary my dear Watson. Quite a few of us fell into the trap of investing in a good idea. It was trading at 6 x nav at one stage which was crazy. Now trading at half its nav which is also crazy. They are appalling bad at being realistic about when product comes to market. Blunalu were going to have cell fish to market end of 22. Still no sign . Meatly was supposed to be in the shops at the beginning of the year with pets at home. None of this failure on timing sits well with markets however good the idea is . Just look at what’s happened to the ceramic disc company and the electric motor company. Terrific ideas, hopeless management. I would expect better from Anic with the extortionate fees being paid to Shelby

Can’t see how it could be deemed he did anything wrong, even if his strategy was seen as ineffective or negligent. Yet another example of the hush hush secret nature of this company that has confused investors since its inception. It certainly doesn’t help. I wonder what outcome he is hoping for winning back the company or compensation? As with the previous founder that resigned they have a funny way of getting out that is not in the interest of anyone but themselves. I’m more concerned about the competition. Might put off predictors temporarily. The current directors say they believe this to be a going concern for the foreseeable. If they need to catch up on the tech side by splashing out another 5 million leaves a lot of questions
