I thought someone said it was going into Hull?
@Honestopinion - someone posted it was going into Hull. If so, do we know the congestion around Hull?
@acaciatan - what country are you from, mate?
It's still in the factory in Spain, due to leave on Dec 24th & arrive in Nottingham hopefully by Dec 31st
I believe the masks for testing were produced by the P2F machine:
The Company has received an update from Lemu Group ("Lemu"), the manufacturer of the mask making machine, in respect of the timing for testing and delivering of the new production line.
Factory Acceptance Testing of the machine is due to take place later today, alongside this testing there will also be a batch of masks produced for certification purposes. The mask is being certified to the EN14683 standard.
@Showmedamane - the wind farm project is about to take off! I think that one went over a lot of people's heads, lol! Funniest thing I read all day! :)
@Tankhill - It looks like there's a EN 14683 2005 & EN 14683 2019 & so would guess we are trying to acheive the latter
Pick a layer, any layer! Which layer will be modified?

"Factory Acceptance Testing of the machine is due to take place later today, alongside this testing there will also be a batch of masks produced for certification purposes. The mask is being certified to the EN14683 standard."
I guess once the masks are modified (& possibly the production machine modified too) then they'll have to run a few more batches off for testing...& once they're happy with the testing & passed certification, only then will they crate up the production machine for shipping!...If so, I doubt it will arrive at Biocity by end of this year! :(
According to the P2F website, the masks are CE certified to EN14683 yet the three batches of prototype masks that were produced, of the 3 masks that were tested, only one passed the initial test of EN14683.
The EN14683 2019 tests of type 2R mask are: breathability, bacterial filtration efficiency, splash resistance, microbial cleanliness & biocompatibility.
Good point! That would be interesting to know! Also, by how much did the 5 ply mask fail & what was the pass criteria...80%, 90% or 100% breathabity or somewhere inbetween?
P2F are seeking approval for their nanoparticles for the US citrus market so one would assume they would follow suit with the masks...& a tie up with a US manufacturer too! Now that would be pretty big!
What about income from the other areas within RMS & P2F?
Yes, but there are ££'s in the Citrus Greening & plant fertilizer nanotechnology which it looks like a huge orders might be placed soon from all round the world shortly! & also a big contract for Gyrometric Systems soon too!
I know we're all waiting for news on 'the mask' but also don't forget there could be other news due shortly as per RNS on 8 October:
"P2F has now completed the initial trial of its proprietary zinc nanotechnology, with positive results, at a citrus farm in the UK. P2F will commence trials in the USA shortly and if success is replicated in the USA trials, it expects to launch this product in early 2021, for farmers to apply during the 2021 growing season."
Gyrometric Update
In relation to Gyrometric, the Company notes the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson this week announced a proposal for a substantial increase in UK offshore wind turbine capacity. This new capacity will require comprehensive monitoring to maximise performance and minimise down time which is at the heart of Gyrometric's patented technology.
Gyrometric continues to be in detailed technical discussions with one of the world's largest manufacturers of offshore wind turbines about the installation and testing of this Gyrometric technology on a large wind turbine early in 2021.
It looks like a USA FedEx truck, doubt if they’d ship from Spain to UK in that
We know the virus killing properties of the material is effective for at least 7 hours but would need more testing to find out exactly how long it remains effective. You wouldn’t want to be swapping aircon filters in buildings, cars or aircraft everyday.
The Harrier could fly backwards :)
Great post, Trading4good...thanks!
He might've given a free 'Sample' box of masks to the hospital
