Every little bit helps. What's the security charge in SL, $39? Assuming flights say 80% full - that's 40 PAX three times a week. Works out around $243k pa by my calculations.Add that to all of the other new flights Eskers has indentified over the last 6 months or so and the results will start to improve a lot IMO.

Could well be a triple whammy with an African airport too.

Interesting post - do you have a link for that? I must admit, I thought it was officially opened. If that is indeed the case perhaps the management have had more pressing things on their agenda to get it fully operational rather than giving the final sign off on security which is fully operational?

DHC I don't think it has anything to do with a bedding in period. My theory is that we had to be involved prior ORAT, but at that point no one knew what the opening date would be as that depended on the ORAT results. I suspect therefore that a temporary arrangement was put in place, which we are currently operating under. I am wondering whether the potential existence of such an agreement is why there appears to be a lack of urgency on the client's side? Maybe they have had bigger fires to put out that have resulted in final sign off not being high on their priority list?

We certainlŷ seem t� be gearing up for something with all of that recruitment. The January recruitment of business development manager and the accountant suggest that whatever it is, it's been worked on for some months now. Coincidence that Nigeria is currently looking to bring in third party companies and overseas investors to support its aviation industry? An excellent summary H&N. I think the comment "increasing potential scope of this project" is very significant. That says to me that thus has now progressed way above the original �35m + ancillary contract & border contract. I really think people are under estimating the potential of this deal. I also think there are a couple of other key points from the 31 Jan RNSs worthy of note. "With an increasing volume of high level and governmental meetings around the world being undertaken in progressing our many Managed Services opportunities, and to help deliver on our strategic goals,". "In addition to the Middle East potential contract discussed above, we expect to see AT LEAST ONE of these MoU's converted into a signed contract in 2018." All of the recent statements re funding have also referred to both funding the ME project and other opportunities. We clearly have a number of irons in the fire approaching red hot. The recent posts regarding security failings in Nigeria along with job adverts appearing again suggests that may be one of the candidates,.Then there is also Namibia, with the 90 day ultimatum to improve security by KLM reported on 28 February. They are now half way through that period, getting more urgent to resolve as each day passes. We know that is one of the MOUs in place. Then there are a number of other possible targets, Tunisia, Lebanon. We also know the UK government gas signed a MOU with Morocco, similar to what was signed with Oman shortly after our MOU for the ME was announced. All of which are French speaking, and we know the emphasis there has been on French speakers in job adverts posted.

Weren't they given a 90 day ultimatum by one of the airlines to get security sorted out following the cow incident? Refreshing my memory from the 2016 advert, there are quite time consuming processes that Private Guard Companies have to follow before individual security guards can be employed and therefore they are recruited in anticipation of securing a contract. Maybe this is one of the ones we are hoping to convert in 2018?

MB, the comment comes from last year's AGM. PF said that the contract had a three month start up window but that then client would probably want us to start straight away.
