The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
Just to split hairs with you Mike. The terms of a contract can be finalised between the parties without signatures being put at the bottom of a page.
I’m guessing that the drone strike at the Abqaiq refinery and Khurais field might help focus DT’s mind on lifting sanctions on Iran selling its oil.
Very good points H&N. I think a lot forget that we had to emergency deploy to Ghana (those were Mark Hughes’ words if I recall correctly) to get the project up and running, no time to sort the admin of setting up companies, efficient tax structures and banking facilities to ensure that we can repatriate the cash flows efficiently beforehand. All that takes time, getting advice, putting actions into place. Until the right structures are in place I guess they can’t sign contracts anyway. Didn’t the last RNS refer to contracts ie plural?
Absolutely AIMing it would be in a separate group if it happens - set up new co - give WSG shareholders shares in new co and transfer German Co and contract into new Co. It’ll require shareholder circulars, so there is a cost, so I don’t expect that to happen until the Iran deal gets a green light.
You’ve obviously got a complex lol, it was c**p in relation to the subject, not c**t in relation to the poster.
Oh FFS, not this c*** yet again. Fowler was not paid £310k last year. As you clearly note yourself his salary was £157k. The majority of the difference is the fair value, at the time of issue, of the share options awarded during the year. That is a non cash accounting adjustment required by IFRS2.
Presumably not fully operational yet as there are two container ships berthed in the old port, the Constantia and Athena.
There is probably a clue in the ship’s name Zhen Hua 24
Zhenhua, is a Chinese multinational engineering company and one of the world's largest manufacturers of cranes and large steel structures.
360k of sells versus 23k of buys and up 0.05p. Looks like there are two due to be cancelled.
Question is, is it a real trade or yet another one that will be cancelled in a week or so’s time?
Martyn, I don't think that it is Sudan :-)
Can you guess or name all of Richardhead's multi IDs?
Without a signed piece of paper, no director of a plc in their right mind would state will as opposed to expected. I also take that comment to mean that it is will be a positive contribution to the bottom line as opposed to just the top line. So even if we are getting paid now, I would expect set up costs to probably outweigh that in the first few weeks of the contract. The fact that it will be positive at the end of H2 is good enough for me given the likely length of the contract.
We know Gerstein was in Chile back end of last year, but that was for airport related business. If Sutcliffe is involved it could well be another port opening, which I’ve not heard of before now.
BBM, let me try and help you out.
- What is the hold-up? - Still sorting teething problems. I can’t see contracts being finalised until all issues are sorted as they may require a modification to responsibilities of the respective parties. It makes perfect sense to me. Fully operational by end of Q3.
- Are we getting paid at some point for the work we are doing now? - As it states will contribute to results in H2 - That’s good enough for me.
- How much longer will that 100k last? - We have cash of £0.8m.
- A firm commitment to no more fund raisers - If we secure s major MSC we will raise funds one way or another, so you won’t get that commitment.
Green button Feeks - switch to message view should get you back to how you want it.
Have you hit the show in a thread button by mistake?
Scanport-Westminster accordingly established a full scanning operation at the primary scanning stations at both the import and export gates and secondary screening services
So that clarifies that - all containers both in and out of the port. That’ll do very nicely :-)
