Well good luck with 'hopping back on' when the Tema (or any other major MSC) RNS lands, you'll need it.
Then we should be grateful you are just a PI and not CEO Vander. At least, despite being such a small company as you put it, WSG knows enough about KSA business practice to successfully deliver a $4.5m tech contract there, and then get invited to review security at one of its leading ports.
Did you not see the Ghana presentation posted on the website Mike? Look at the front cover.

I think there is a big clue there :-) But shush, don’t tell anyone ;-)
If only that were true Aiming, if only! lol.
My strategy will be to sell 0% post RNS. There's a lot more to come from this.
Monrovia in Liberia is also run by APM Terminals Mike.
MTP it certainly isn’t the African airport 50% signed last November / December - it’s the wrong side of Africa. Whether it is another opportunity we are involved in I do not know.
No apologies needed, just pointing out the tender that has now closed re the port. Jeddah is I believe the largest port, handling around 4.1m TEUs pa. Huge.
Smithers, Novice posted the link a week or so back - beneath it was also a tender for providing industrial security services in Jeddah Islamic port , which expired earlier this month. We also know we had an employee of Westminster Arabia reviewing security at a leading Saudi port at the end of October.
They had to give 6 months notice. They didn’t. Contract runs full term
Hopefully nothing will get signed off until at least after those 1.1m of warrants expire next Friday. Not a huge number in the grand scheme of things, but every little helps as they say.
Exactly my thoughts too DJ. And another thing, when was the last time we set up a specific company like Westminster Arabia and employed a sales and operating manger based in the country before we started negotiating with the client? I suspect that we could be a lot further forward in KSA than we realise.
I've just been going over some AGM notes again.
...contacts that we have in the middle east have agreed to look at building a hotel at Lunghi – very important because reason BA stopped flying to SL is because staff had no where to stay. – If can have a good quality hotel in Lunghi will encourage more airlines to go there.
I didn't think much about it at the time, but that must be a very significant contact in the ME to be able to persuade them to look at building a good quality hotel at Lunghi airport.
I don't think it is Iran related. The other German companies were set up for that. I expect it relates to one of the other projects that were nearing fruition
Mike - your question
"I'd like to know the reason for the recently formed GLIS subsidiary. We already had a subsidiary in Germany, which was formed some time ago,... so why another now, ..unless there is a specific intended use?"
From the AGM
I noticed you set up a new company in Germany through your partners out there..... was it to facilitate this contact?
No
Something else?
Yes
JTD - no doesn't ring a bell, but if MOS knows you then fair enough, that's good enough for me, I'll happily take it back.
So you could have gone on Mastermind with WSG as your specialist subject but you only have one post to your name. So you had all that knowledge but never bothered to share any of your wisdom with anybody else, but now you want everyone else to get you back up to speed? is that right?
Amazing that having not followed the share for ages you randomly decided to top up just two days ago and were lucky enough to spot this afternoon's article whilst not following the share. Wow!, just wow!
Did you miss the Iran on hold RNS Vander?
How did you come to that conclusion Simo?
You just never know Novice!
From the 21 June RNS "We have already held joint meetings with both port and airport authorities within the country and further meetings are being organised...…" So it is always possible. PAX of 26m at King Khalid. Would be very nice !!!
I wonder if the "Providing Industrial Security Services In Jeddah Islamic Port" immediately below the King Khalid tender is the one Conlon has been out in KSA scoping ? 4.1m TEUs pa. Would be very nice as well!!!
