Can we stop the hype about the hemogenyx cdx licence/partnership with Eli-lilly

It’ is not a partnership.

It’s not a collaboration.

It’is not a co‑development deal

it is a licence agreement as in Hemo pay lilly for the right to use there old Ip.....hemo pay Lilly $ 250k up front "hemo are cash strapped so cdx remains in the petri dish as lilly will require milestone payments if it advances through phase 11 c/t ball park figure up to a million dollars then further more royalty payments if hemo succeeds.....in a nutshell lilly worked on validating CDX and generated the IP but that labour of love ended years ago and the license simply gave hemo the rights to use the IP 🐭

That said, the core points don’t really change for Hemogenyx Pharmaceuticals:

* £3M improves runway, but likely doesn’t fully fund through the milestones that lay a head

* Further funding (and dilution) still likely

So yes — funding quality has improved.

But this is still:

Early-stage + not fully de-risked + not fully funded

Fair to say it’s moved from “weak” to “improving”, not to “strong”. 🐭

I have been monitoring a small cap pharma of which is on par with hemo : Senti Biosciences....fully enrolled....FDA accelerated pathway.....50% response /mrd negative/bone marrow preserved/ senti is making ground but realistically 3/4 years before becoming a standard treatment for Aml 🐭

Can patients tolerate the therapy at escalating doses?

Is there any measurable anti-leukemic activity (blast reduction, partial or complete remission)?

Does the product show acceptable short-term safety (toxicity, cytokine effects, organ impact)?

At this stage, efficacy is secondary. until phase11 the road map will then monitor/Complete remission/MRD negativity rates/Duration of remission/Ability to bridge patients to transplant: the critical question at this point: Does HG-CT-1 change clinical outcomes or just temporarily reduce the disease.
