Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
There seems to be some momentum upwards past days.Any reason?
20 million shares bought so far today.Who is buying?
Why are millions of shares being bought way above 1p?Is it really a done deal?
The SP has gone up nearly 10% today.Mr Tinkler has bought over 12 % of flybe.Analysts are still seeing upside to the value of the SP.It is NOT a done deal, the vultures have not feasted on the carcass,as flybe is still very much alive. Its very unlikely SHs will approve this coup.Plenty more ups and downs with this company I think.
Can anyone enlighten me on the process of continued trading of Flybe shares?Assuming this has got to get approval from shareholders, could Flybe not continue for weeks or even months before a final decision has been made?Like many, very confused about this situation.
How long will flybe continue to trade?63million+ shares were bought on Friday,by whom?If indeed approval is required by shareholders 75%,then surely this is not a done deal and other options could be available apart from forcing shareholders to get 1p a share back.
Is it even legal to do this dodgy deal without seeking shareholders approval?
Gatwick slots sold for double the value of the company, something must be very wrong here!
No way are major investors,in fact all investors are going to simply roll over and accept this ridiculous offer. This is far from over imho.
is happening,ready for take off?
showing up and Oil bearish, surely Flybe can take advantage of these tailwinds.
Couldn't help myself :-)
They've sold a bit, not enough to shake the SP.
Ft, in an article this morning claim that Stobart is in discussions to buy flybe! :-)
Virgin mention this as a possible new arrangement with Flybe. What does this actually mean?
Wondering if virgin/delta might take a large equity stake in flybe in order to have some control and protect the valuable slots Flybe has. They seem to have a lot of government support as they keep getting more slots at heathrow and london city for domestic flights. Are people aware of this natural and relatively easy way to have a huge say in the direction of the company.
ok got it 2nd biggest holder, sorry brain getting frazzled with this stock.!!!
Never heard of them, didnt even know they had a big chunk of us!
Anybody understand the recent rns?
I think you make a good point about virtually no competition on most domestic routes, and with gvt subsidies,it runs something like a train company. It is absolutely necessary for business and travel in general. Therefore there is an inherent need to support and continue this company or at least the routes it runs.
