Made a nice 2k this morning....could have made 3, but I'll take the money. Stunning set of figures, though. Lewis has to be congratulated, and Tesco need to pay him whatever he wants.

I bought last week at 2.02, but could have just scraped 1.99 if I'd waited a couple of hours. I'd be very surprised if we don't see a at least a short team spike on Wednesday, however, I've seen it all before and often this share can flatter to deceive. if we are all honest here that's been the story for quite a few years now. You know what investors are like - they love profit, and increasing sales and market share, etc, but they also love cost cutting and reducing pension deficits, all the unsexy stuff which can drag prices down. Still, as said, I'd be seriously disappointed if we don't see some upwards movement on Wednesday, but it probably won't last very long. In and out for me.

Well if they are it's a pretty disappointing result at barely over 2 quid. Simply no way of knowing really.

�2.00 seems very low to me at the moment. A good set of figures will see that go to �2.20 no problem.

Forget Tesco for the time being, pencil in April 3rd when Spotify gets listed. There's a very serious opportunity to make big money there if you're brave enough!

Have to say Tesco were the big winners with the merger. Forget the daily noise around the low sp today, long term they will reap the benefits. Anyone who knows anything about retail will see Charlie Wilson as a fantastic asset - because that's precisely what he is. Mind you, Booker's shareholders have definitely been short changed. Works out at about �2.05 per share at today's prices, but that can change in the medium and long term.

2% down already today, down 8% from just the start of the month. Where will this end?

85% of Tesco shareholders approved, who are plainly getting the better deal, and Booker require a minimum of 75%. It would not surprise me if this is rejected.

I recently dipped my toe into the very murky and heart stopping world of cryptocurrencies. I made a profit of �151.00 buying ripple, then watched the price fluctuate by plus or minus 8-10% every day for the following seven days in a row. No thanks. It's just not worth the risk with CFD trading.

I'm not even sure when the announcement will be made. Considering many of the votes are postal, and assuming they all have to be counted first?

Want to hear something funny? Or not so funny for me. I actually considered buying Provident Financial yesterday after their 12% drop. Yes, really. I have 50k in funds in my dealing account with IG. One of their agents kindly worked out what my profit would have been if I had purchased at �5.88 and then sold at �10.15 (it did go up to �11.00). �213,500. Now if the deal goes through tomorrow, I expect Booker to lift at least 10%. That's about 12k profit. Oh for that crystal ball.

Well, a buy must be favourite, but......this deal is heavily stacked in Tesco's favour. If you're familiar with CFD trading, it's a huge risk if it goes south. I don't bother with standard share dealing these days, there's simply not enough reward in it - unless you drop very lucky and do a Provident Financial. I've made more in the last two weeks than I have in the previous two years thanks to CFD - but I know the risks at substantial. That's why I'm hesitating.

'Influential advisory firm Glass Lewis told Booker investors that Tesco's proposed premium for Booker "clearly lags regional trends". Tesco has offered a 12.1 per cent premium to Booker's share price of 183.1p on the day before it unveiled the deal. However, with Booker's shares now trading at around 223p, this premium has been eroded.' You could argue that the price of �2.25 is at that level because of the takeover anyway, so the value is already priced in. I'm keeping an open mind, but there is a golden opportunity to make some serious money - if one is brave enough. I have a big decision to make regarding the Booker shares - to short or long. That is the question.

So the vote's on Wednesday - anyone know the time of the vote and when the expected announcement will be?

1. Chances of Booker deal not going through? 2. On the assumption it's going through, whose share to buy before Tuesday's vote - Tesco or Booker? Guys - any thoughts?

Well, if anyone bought first thing today and sold now, they've made an absolute killing (483.50 at time of this post).
