Opinion of recent board changes, but I think Andrew Scott retains a lot of credibility. Doc has been a serial pump and dumper over the years, using a bunch of his mates to do this. However, I will give him the benefit of the doubt here as at some stage everyone wants their 5 minutes if fame and to get himself into this position I think he will work hard to get a good result and oversee his shares reaching a strong value in order to pay him a nice premium. All I can say is good luck to all shareholders (including me 😂)

The dilution to raise funds in the new year would be astronomical surely? There's no talk of fundraising by the present board but so saying, that doesn't mean they wouldn't. If the requisitiners are successful, based on this announcement, the share proce would surely drift into oblivion with the market aware of an imminent placing?

The problem I see is that if Kamran takes over, and has his own operator, he will have to take out Rathlin lock stock and barell. There would then not be enough cash left in the pot to then progress West Newton. As it is, the present board will have to fund Rathlin but that is their only outlay in order to continue with the drill. Of course, it is unlikely the present board would be able to raise much whereas Kamran potentially has contacts that would possibly chip in if West Newton was to het going.

Much will change for shareholders whoever gets in as both parties are in this for the Shell money and their own continued personal targets. The twins have an Italian dream that could be a costly nightmare and team KS have certain financial issues that need that cash. Shareholders need to decide who of the parties will act in the interests of the share price and allocate the money to the assets most likely to succeed. I would like to see West Newton drilled, I just cannot decide who will progress it.

Better the devil you know, or possibly change for a bigger devil or a better devil because at the end of the day, theres a big cash prize here for the winner. Its all about how the devil spends it. If the two S's drill West Newton, then everyone will soon forget their salaries. If they don't, the saga will restart. If the requistioners take over and start injecting the cash into their own projects and set aside Italy and West Newton, then the saga again cintinues with no chance of shareholders getting their investment back. Not an easy decision to make, better the devil you know or a journey into the unknown? My only thought is that the oresent board do seem committed to West Newton, the other side are the unknown.

You have the present board who drilled West Newton and propose to continue developing it, or some unknowns who some believe are just after the cash to forward their own assets.

I would think Malcy is on the Reabold payroll, he is very positive about them at a time when thier Italian asset remains a bit of an issue to the majority of people posting on here, not just the requistiiners.

I don't suppose the board are obliged to reconise the contents of that letter Heid, as neither Kamran or his team actually represent all shareholders amd it is only their opiniion in that request. Until anything changes , they will carry on as normal.

Moniman, I think you are quite correct, the deal is done. It will be a very expensive lesson to juts drop the whole thing and if they do, whoever is in charge will subject the share price to a cataclysmic hit when LNE dump all their shares.
