"Yes, being one of very few people on a board that says the genocide committed by Stalin was appalling against a board full of oddball Stalin sympathisers"..... can you provide the post that I made that confirms this you delusional libelous idiot?
"Tomorrow morning I’ll get up whenever I want to. You go to work at Royal Mail so that I don’t have to"..... actually, I hate to tell you but you're wrong. I retired in October and took both my NRA65 pension and CDBS lump sum (thanks Dave and Terry for arranging this) so I am now unemployed (just like you).... only I'm still getting paid round until the end of the financial year as per my contract (thanks GPO) so can't claim JSA as you are able to.
Still that nice man Mr Hunt is asking you to go back to work now so maybe you can oblige?
On your way son......
"I’m allowed to debate anything I want…….if you can’t handle that simple fact then why don’t you report it and have it removed from the board?"....... because it amuses me that you are willing to show to everyone here exactly what a complete and utter ©@©kwomble you really are..... lololol
Keep up the good work. The job centre opens at 9am tomorrow morning. Plenty of seasonal work available with Royal Mail.....
"Not only a slave to your employer but a slave to the forums. Ouch. Lol".....said the poster with 693 posts since the 23rd of June and spent two days and a few dozen posts this week arguing about Marx and Stalin on a parcel courier share forum?
Muppet......
PP, "surely he must be thinking about a takeover?"
I am getting a sense of déjà vu here.....lol
Queue a hundred posts on the value of the individual businesses and the lowest that shareholders would take to bail out.....lol
Anyone fancy working for Royal Mail?.....lol
Our local Royal Mail office is struggling to fill a couple of postie jobs. If you know of anyone who's looking for work or fancies a change from what they do today, please get in touch. If you're up for a few weeks of temporary work, that's also an option!
We are offering immediate start dates and can be flexible on hours (Pay rates start at £12.29 per hour).
We are holding open days at our Ilfracombe site 37-38 High Street, EX34 9DB on Thurs 23rd and Friday 24th November.
No need to book - just come along to meet Dave and his team and find out a little more about the roles we have available and how you can become part of your local community.
If you are unable to attend on those days, you can contact Dave directly on 07947 804122.
We look forward to meeting you!
Redceo, it seems that IDS has been such a boring stock that posters want to expand to other topics?
Anyway, how are you? Have you used your chainsaw lately and stocked up with logs for next year? How's the yatch, is it safely in winter storage? I was thinking about getting down to Cowes sometime next spring......lol
USO.....
I think that we've beaten this one to death now?
Until the RM BoD can obtain permission to reduce the service requirements then it's not going to change.
As TMS pointed out last week, it's on the "to do list" but it's not on the short term business plan.
"Short term actions to stabilise business, with focus on:
· Prioritising investment in high return projects.
· Reducing non-core costs.
· New cash management approach.
· Targeted price increases to offset inflation and costs of Universal Service Obligation (USO)".
this is doing the rounds on social media......

Ispy, I also have a question for the panel.
Can anyone tell me how to solve the issues with the USO and even tell me why it's not on the business plan? I would have thought that a yearly cost reduction of up to c£250m would have been in the top five on the list?
I honestly don't have a Scooby Doo and am suffering from high levels of desperation.....lol
TMS, we're going to have to agree to disagree on the this one. I'm just pleased that changes to the USO aren't in the business plan and therefore the revenue that could be clawed back (estimated to be up to £250m) won't be deemed to be that important going forward.
And there was silly old Marxist me getting you wrong thinking that you were all about the money.....lol
