Was a privilege to assist with the Berthing at the Commissioning Quay, then transit into Belfast Building Dock. We at John Mcloughlin Shipping provided 2 x intermediate tugs 25tn bollard pull (Sally and Eileen Mcloughlin) and 1 x mooring boat, Noleen Mcloughlin. Dock gate removal, line running, Berthing assistance and re-engagement of the Dock gate.
Thanks to Harland and Wolff for their trust in our company and hope that we can work together on future projects.
Also a big thanks to all Belfast pilots involved and to Hamilton Shipping (Denholm Group) for their constant support.

Poots wants to avoide that by extending bill to 2050 and bringing in higher reductions in emissions in industry etc with hydrogen at the centre.
Storage of hydrogen is high on the agenda with salt caverns being the only tried and tested option safety and economically viable.....only one potential salt cavern project in Ireland....Sure you new all that anyway mate

It was quite an intetresting debate but i need to read transcripts first for fear of IM Local shop running out of superglue, in short Mr Poots feels the Hydrogen economy could provide the finance required for climate change whilst also helping the agriculture sector amongst others of N.I reach the overall emissions target.
