Afternoon chaps whats your take on " On The 13TH August Vero obtained, Court approval for a reduction of its Share Premium Account by £4,000,000 from £5,860,176 to £1,860,176.The aim was to pay a dividend but the company decided last year to hold until the world economy picked up.!!! Am i right in thinking that anything taken from the share premium account has to be passed onto shareholders? Allbeit in the way of shares. Faz will post some of Vero,s competitors latter bit more research first though.

Cheers mate more than happy to read any research. Do you agree that with the launch of visi 17 all the existing customers will want to update the software and extend the maintanence contracts? And as such the yearly increase in turnover should continue.Seems no doubt that the vis17 has many new upgrades and with the addition of CADENAS which has the largest external library of 3D standard components available on the market .

Vero Software has a licensing system similar to microsoft rather than patents.The product needs constant updating etc thus the maintenance agreement s.

Hi mate yes it is looking good i think the main prob is so few shares believe it or not! If you take out the shares below it leaves very few and as such not alot of volume . Guess the good point is IF a divi is paid even small volume will raise the sp quite quickly and it is currently well undervalued i feel. LONDON (ShareCast) - Strong recurring revenues are insulating Vero Software from the worst of the current recession. The supplier of software solutions for the mould and die sector increased turnover for the twentieth year in succession in 2008, and said recurring revenues now account for more than 20% of total turnover. Revenue rose to £13.9m in 2008 from £12.7m in 2007, while pre-tax profit before exceptional items improved to £1.37m from £1.09m the year before. The company took a £0.45m hit relating to restructuring of the company’s Italian and Chinese subsidiaries, and the UK office rationalisation programme. Despite having completed a capital reduction programme in August in order to be able to declare dividends, the board has decided to defer the company’s maiden dividend in view of the current difficult economic conditions. ‘The well documented downturn will be a challenge in 2009 but comes at a time when the company has amassed a loyal customer following and is best placed to provide the complete solutions required by our clients to provide outstanding product capabilities,’ said Don Babbs, chief executive of Vero. HI mate yes just come across it while looking up coming interim dates cant really find fault very few shares good customer base.New products, worldwide markets,increasing turnover. Do believe as the world economy picks up this is a very good company to be in. As you say MikeF seems to be well on the case.
