Morning phyl thanks for the update can I take it you where quite happy with the way the conversation went and your investment here?
Have to add it’s great that we have someone here that communicates with the company it’s very reassuring I also thank you for that.
Personally I am quite happy to wait and I sometimes think all I do is post links to info whereas these guys are out there doing all the hard work day to day to build what will be a great company .

My thoughts are a company like RPS would not have taken this on unless they are convinced they have all the correct information from SUP and also highly likely to be able to get a permit.
I also remember TC saying the trials on subcoal exceeded there expectations

Previously we have been in same pot as wind obviously wind is cheaper because it’s more developed. However this year the government have been looking into the idea of putting tidal/ wave into a different group although the bids would be dearer than wind at the moment it’s believed it could be far cheaper once scaled up along with the other benefits of being predictable and unseen and a longer life span.

I don’t know if wtithall the excitement today my post at 05.46 got missed out . The relevance could be huge for us EMEC are obviously quietly confident tidal energy will be put in a different category to wind. TC has said if that happens we are in the best place to be awarded one . With that Project Stroma will start which will be huge for us . Another addition could be Portland Bill which we have a lease on.
The best bit is the energy white paper should lay out the catagories and that is overdue now !
