Part and parcel of a CEO's role is networking old chum as long as there is progress on the strategic path. Frustrating I know but oiling wheels and metaphorically greasing palms is the job. He's (Arch) got to be a wheeler and dealer and probably has his pants down all over the place (4 jurisdictions and counting) and I for one wouldn't do it for that money unless there was a bigger pot at the end of the rainbow!
