So BBC now have some 'official' death figures for Iran. Well, they are way over 20%. So let's assume China has lied (it has) then all of sudden my comment several weeks ago seem a little more accurate. I was told over 17%. Why not say malarial death rates are higher in Kenya than Alaska? It is true but totally and utterly irrelevant. Compare Chinese death rates re flu and you will find they are not near 4%. 4% UK would be almost 3 million people. 3 million dead from the flu...yes in the early 20th Century. Official death rates at just shy of 4% now as per WHO. Iran is is near 20%. Funnily enough I dont believe the Chinese data or the Iranian data. Flu does not cause borders to be closed or ships quarantined or streets sprayed with disinfectant. Nor does flu have a 42 day party pass to cause mayhem. 42 days, that is nuts. That is one awesome virus, truly awesome. 42 days to hide, grow, mutate, infect, wow. Evolution at is finest. That is the king of viruses. Chinese factores remain closed and is forcing businesses to bankruptcy...orders are to pay wages and costings. Let's hope the weather warms and slows it. Right now the data is unreliable and that is the scary bit, hence the jitters. The speed of the spread is gaining momentum. The land of the Chin will bury some bad economic data on the back of this, that is for sure. It will, all wash out, but the economic damage is going to be significant. It already is.

STV. I have no idea what you are on about. I have never had any interest in a bus based billboard. I have even called GIT out on it many times. I was commenting on Hbob's comment about knuckle daggers voting for Brexit. Hbob's attitude is classic remain, and is why the red wall fell. People were not being listened to. Red is dead. One red party will become three others types. The remainers have allowed the Tories to be in power for a decade plus. Not a problem for me, but bad for politics. One vote is one vote irrespective of education, age, intelligence, gender, wealth geography and so on. At least labour still have Diane Abbott, and she is great value for them because she works for 28 hours a day, 9 days a week for 426 days of the year.
