STV. 500 million is considered by many scientists as a viable long term number. Sadly no one has told the continent of Africa. Cutting and pasting of Wiki is lazy research. That wiki entry has a number of inaccuracies straight off. The first paragraph you cut and pasted contradicts, in many ways, the second paragraph. You must also put this in context. My experience of many liberals and liberal lefties especially (crunchy conservatives have some liberal views) of today is that they love sound bites, they are keyboard warriors. They like soft targets, like Trump. His shocking wall and his shocking immigration stance and his shocking fake news blah blah blah. Easy to spit at as he is across and ocean but it allows them to feel all 'hard' and empowered. The same liberals who want equality and equal ops for all (shouting down Trump on such matters)appear to be lacking when real challenge is required, and in their doorstep.
