The small additional cost of the finance deal is nothing compared to the cost of a delay to the project that could have happened had the JPM option not been pursued in such a timely manner. A delay that our government would have been wholly responsible for.

I’m not 100% sure of my average price either. Changing brokers and losing my spreadsheet both conspired to make my average buy I price a mystery. I know most of the shares were bought with my current broker so I guess the average shown on the HalifaxShareDealing site cannot be far out.

Started buying at 7.66p in 2013 but have bought as high as 36.18p in August 2018 and the most recent being 15.23p just yesterday. Averages showing as 23.826p and 24.917p in ISA and sharedealing accounts respectively. Losing £21.5k at present :).

Whilst nothing is guaranteed, plenty of bonds with poorer ratings are bought. £500 million isn’t even a huge amount of bonds. I’m as near to 100% convinced that they will be snapped as I can be. But never say never.

That is interesting. My understanding was that almost all of the TBMs will be removed at the end of the job. I guess it will depend on any potential value of the used parts.

I wouldn’t expect anyone connected to the company to suggest that two or maybe one TBM would be sufficient. But the potential opportunity must be one for the back pocket.

I doubt that Stella Rose would be removed and redeployed. It is more likely, imo, that she will continue towards Woodsmith, possibly all the way but perhaps to meet up with the TBM from Woodsmith. The 3rd TBM wouldn’t then be needed and could be sold to another project. Maybe anyone who is going to the public event tonight could ask although, I doubt anything would be said on record. We have a plan to use 3 x TBMs and that is good enough until an opportunity to reduce arises.
