RE: Driver Drowsiness6 Jul 2021 16:33
This cost me my career 2+ years ago, a job I enjoyed but I had to visit clients and people under me over half the country. Trouble is I kept falling asleep at the wheel (mostly microsleeps) and had to stop on long journeys for a 30 min powernap. Extremely dangerous so I quit which is not something I wanted to do, but if I didn't me or someone else would have paid. I'll be interested if any of these formats come with something more substancial the lights and noise to waken you, I remember on one trip on a long stretch of Motorway with no exits I hardly could keep awake with every stimulation I could think of. Long days on the road, a bit of insomnia, stress, and Motorway driving are terrible combo's and if I was unlucky, couples humping loudly next door in Hotels was even worse.
