IMO, there is a growing number of investors that are becoming aware of AFC's potential and they simply want in at a lower price so roll out the manipulation measures.

In the past we have often got a discounted placing RNS to accommodate an institutional investor who wanted in and JLP came up with a slightly plausible reason for wanting the cash. I think this approach towards institutions is now history. JLP still wants institutional investors but now does not need to offer discounted placings because of cash flow. So my cynical brain suggests that if we keep the price pegged back a little with some poor broker notes then that is the best new investors will now have to accept if they want in at a discount. At some point the SP is going to rise significantly.

Regarding the need to fill the gaps, I think the self-fulfilling prophecy is part of the chartist's armoury. I also think that PI's drive the price of these AIM stocks up in the early days and then the institutions use this gap filling b#ll#cks to get the price back down so they can enter at a lower price when the riskier days are behind us.

Call me old fashioned but I'd quite like to stay invested in JLP and see them become a major. Apart from making shed loads of dosh it's actually interesting and rewarding to see a fledging company grow!!

gshivers, this seems to happen to a lot of promising stocks. The way I see it is that the PI's pack the early train and it leaves the station. Unfortunately the 1st class passengers have not arrived and so the FAT controller gets the train back into the station to off-load some of the cattle class PI's and replace with the privileged few who somehow manage to get discounted tickets!!!

I think the article is using 75% since ammonia feedstock is NH3, so 1 part nitrogen and 3 parts hydrogen or 25%:75%
