So Dixons ****hone is more or less relying on the Apple IPhone x to solve all its problems !! The current share price 2.74 is equal to 27p ( the Dixon share price prior to the amalgamation was 45p ) In my opinion there is no confidence in the Directors or Management, and DC selling gas and electricity is just plain stupid. Why can't they concentrate on core activities and give Management and staff sensible mature objectives ? A lot of people including staff have had their fingers burnt with this share. Time for some retail professionals to take over and give some proper and sensible direction
Maybe that they are now selling gas and electricity the share price may improve !! Don't hold your breath So sorry I didn't sell my shares before this cumulative drop of 46% Current price is equal to 46p prior to CPW merger. WHAT IS GOING ON !!! ???
What ! No Comment for over a month !!!
Management comment long overdue !
Despite numerous predictions and good results this share has lost 42% of its early January high.....dumbfounded !!!!!! What's going on !
Well done AO World ! No bullying or intimidation of staff there then , it does not work or produce the threatening demanded results, but only poor staff morale !
What do you think the reason is for the continued fall ?
What do you think the problem is then ?
What a complete and utter shambles ! .................................9p here we come !!!
Well, dog eat dog..... Vodaphone, EE, o2 all have their own shops on the high street and all are continuing to increasing their DIRECT presence at the expense of Phones for U and CPW to address pressure on profit margins. As spokesperson for Phones for U stated today "without a network operator such as voda, 02 or EE results in an intermediary being unable to trade" Watch out CPW - you might be next ! Corporate greed at its best !
It does seem strange that the whole acquistion of Dixons share capital by CPW adds precisely nothing to the newly merged companies (Dixons Carphone) share price ! despite having twice the market capitalisation. A bit of a give away if you ask me.
what do you think will happen to Dixons share price if the merger goes ahead ?
Their is obviously no real confidence in this share
