Reaper, 23:51, that is a good example of reading above, below and between the lines... I hadn't thought about what you say, but you are right I think that our future FO partner would have had to agree to the RNS and in so doing it demonstrates mutual respect.
Brombarb at 10:28, thank you, the voice of reason, logic and fact. Does you wife appreciate the logical and reasoned side of your character I wonder :-) !
Phrontist at 11:31, also spot on in my opinion.
Brombarb / V111, agree with you both entirely, highly unlikely, very very very unlikely we will not have a deal agreed. On the theory that 'you get what you think you will get', I'm thinking we will get a nice balance of some cash and drills, and I would be happy to give up a good slice of our total prospective for some immediate or shorterm gain.
Brombarb, I think we must add some qualification, DW may not know what he does yet know, our preferred bidder may have decided not to conclude but not yet informed of the decision not to proceed... for clarity to all, I am not promoting this as a likely option, only that it is a possibility.
Islayman, im sitting in the Aberdeen Music Hall watching my son's and daughter's dance show, and as you are currently experiencing it's not easy typing on a phone, at least I'm not moving I have to admit.... except for a bit of toe tapping that is. Anyway, back to your comment.... I say transformational must be considered outwith the context of the SP, future security to exploit the full extent of what we have is transformational.... but it is frustrating i agree.
Lti, tried to post this reply already but can't see it, but this might well appear twice. I tend to agree with what you say, however I'd like to think a shrewd bidder would do something to differentiate from other bidders.... something that would help DW raise the SP... whatever that may be.
SilverT, I think that's a good summary. personally I'd like to hear more about the 'soft farm-out' on the unconventional, positive news on that at the same time as the conventional FO would contribute well to the SP. I am assuming that a 'soft FO' might mean doing a deal without a formal process and inviting bidders... but who knows.
