I woke up today dreaming that Fiona Bruce was cooking my breakfast, she was such a ghastly cook, so I asked her if she could dust my antique instead. ;)

This drop it to be expected under the circumstances with it being so quiet on the news front, folk are moving money to take advantage elsewhere, probably hoping to jump back in when news comes?

Thing is when news does drop this will rocket! and be very difficult to get back in, IMO

Has to be 50p for the story, I will probably get a ban, lol

It is a blOOdy conundrum, I’m hoping Gold and silver is the answer?

I guess it’s all about how far they can keep kicking that can down the road?

Some of you guys are very experienced in investing, but for some of us mortals picking the right investments to mop up all this printed currency is tricky..

I think we are all in agreement that it’s going to happen it’s just a matter of when! :(

Now short term I’m with you, if you like a gamble it’s been unbelievable! It’s possible that it could go to 300k soon ish ???

But in my opinion it’s no “safe haven” .... it could become regulated? Banned?..... or more likely “they” could bring in paper derivatives, just like they did with gold/silver thus the price can be manipulated....

No government can allow Bitcoin to carry on doing so well, it’s competition!

When we next get a currency reset I’m sure it will be some form of blockchain for sure, but for now enjoy the ride, but watch out for the spike :)

The trouble is with the xr2 idea is when this share price rises, the car could have a price tag of £50k and a ltr of fuel £10 lol

Personally I buy my phones “2nd hand” and invest the saving ;)

Your a man of the cloth so to speak, carpentry is a very honest vocation IMO, being debt free is key to weathering this impending economic downturn IMO

I’m a wood butcher (Carpenter) who opted out of school for my last 3 years, I went fishing with my best mate most days, we got up to all sorts, not a care in the world...... I don’t regret it either, good times

I worked hard, I had my first mortgage at 19 with my girlfriend, at the time...

My interest in economics came much later, I love the subject, like you say what’s going on in the world is horrendous, I recon we are headed for a “Great Depression“

When I say that to people they think I’m talking out of my rear.... we shall see soon enough, between now and 2023 I recon?

Why do I think a crash/ very large correction is coming, well

Well due to the amount of quantitative easing going on (40% of all currency ever printed in the US) I think we are in a big bubble, all this “printed” currency is artificially propping up the stock market and inflating the housing prices, commodities etc

When the governments stop handing out free money and the furlough stops many will find themselves out of work, then most folk will ease back on spending money, causing many problems all in my own opinion...

Personally I have temporarily put my pensions in low risk investments, and also stocked up on fully allocated bullion....we are unprecedented times... I could be overreacting? But my gut tells me otherwise

Yes they are helping businesses, but this time if the banks go pop it’s our money (savings) that will bail them out.....

Have a look at the rules re bank bail in’s, we are all covered by the FSCS compensation scheme up to 85k per institution, sounds great

However if you read about the “guarantee” in basic terms is yeah it’s “guaranteed” if they have the money....

I have heard (but not seen with my own eyes) that the funding level of the scheme is .25 percent of all the money held by banks..... a quarter of one percent... I do intend to research this further

Hand the keys back was a figure of speech, people who loose their jobs and default on their mortgage will have their houses re-possessed, many will have to go bankrupt IMO

I see some big problems ahead....

How do you think things will pan out over the next few year’s?

I find the subject very interesting, unfortunately my knowledge is only fairly basic, but one thing I’m sure about is history tells us, printing more and more currencies is not the answer!

I feel pretty sorry for kids now leaving the education system and trying to forge a stable future.
