RG bought in only a few weeks ago ……..on the 7th of August and he would have been privy to the new CEO appointment on 5th September. The 200m Ghana owe is a payment when reported we will see a significant hike in the SP. Right now some significant buys have been filled over the last 3 days……..sp will naturally recover in the meantime

@BB not predicting a set amount, but feel today we will be in the blue. As it stands 52 week low was today 3.7p and the 52 week high was 27.98 when there was an expression of interest in the business. Can’t rule that out, but equally I believe someone inside knows that a financing deal will be agreed. The creditors want their money and the best way to do that is allow Tullow to move forward.

Looking at the trades and what we know of insider buying at 11.9p for £200k and the fact Helikon closed out their entire short position I now get a feeling this drop may have been engineered. Added 200k in shares

Helicon Investments just reported that it closed out its entire short position 0.64% to 0

Market cap is £74m and enterprise value £1.8 billion and it has $1.5 billion revenue……..that are the facts

Don’t be surprised to see the company advise that Ghana have made payment of the 200m owed and watch the SP bounce back to 8p………time will tell but there are some whopping large buy orders being filled right now

Well there is a rumour going around that Genel is a target - I for one would not be surprised if DNO were to make and approach. There are other also other players in the Kurdistan region that may have an interest, historically Genel has had similar links as the wider market understands that the current valuation is extremely attractive. Shame Genel no longer has Miran under its belt, as someone that was invested in Heritage Oil it would have been amazing to develop that gas field!
