Interesting info in the presentation on slides 9-11!...

The Pitfield discovery is an absolute monster in size really. The mineral deposit itself stretches over 40 kilometers in length, which puts it in a different league compared to many other previous discoveries globally.

Think about it for a second...

If you were to drive from one corner edge of the field all the way to the other end of the mineral deposit assuming you're driving an offroad vehicle on a B gravel road doing let's say 40 miles per hour it would take you around 40 minutes to get all the way to the other end of the field. That's very impressive. And that's the mineralized part only. Until date only a small part of Pitfield has been explored excluding various other high potential prospects along the 40km strike length. This titanium discovery is absolutely enormous in size and depth.

Today's RNS is another testimony of the board's confidence and ambition to move Pitfield as massive mineral deposit forward.

"I look forward to reporting on what I believe will be seminal year ahead for Empire, as we begin to reveal the potential of the Pitfield through an Exploration Target and move closer to the construction of our demonstration plant on the path to commercialisation. Our recent discovery of a major new titanium dioxide discovery, comprising rutile and anatase, at near surface has added an exciting new element to Pitfield, and has opened the possibility of a staged development plan whereby we focus initially on the much higher-grade, titanium dioxide mineral-rich saprolite deposits whilst continuing to develop a processing route for the titanite-rich bedrock deposits. The simple processing characteristics of rutile and anatase may support an expedited path to our demonstration plant, so our foot remains on the accelerator as we look to unlock the full potential of Pitfield over the coming years."

Shaun Bunn, Managing Director, commented: "Empire is on course to deliver a globally significant titanium project following our initial discovery at Pitfield just 12 months ago. Note there are various companies out there which have currently several commercial market applications available not only for rutile, but also specifically for anatase products. A number of them that sell anatase products are for example companies like Chemours, Tronox, Venator, Kronos, Precheza, ISK, Lomon, etc.
