This is aim and raises and outlooks change all the time unfortunately. Most of the sp was built on momentum for angs and ukog, Not fundamentals. Were there reason enough to invest here at between 25p and 30p at a long standing high ? That's up to the investor to decide. You only need to look at 1st November 17 Share Prices ANGS 31.50p - Currently 7.08p UKOG �5.025p - Currently �1.5311 Both have been crippled, It's not all on the angs bod. The fact is, We are where we are for the time being. Let's get the OGA operator approval for Balcombe on 22nd May. I really don't think most realise how big an opportunity this Balcombe licence is ! We've grown production from 40 bopd to 212 bopd ! Their hasn't been a re rate YET. We now also have Balcombe, Brockham & HH in the wings. Now, It really doesn't take a pi who can barely spell their own name very long to realise this company is well undervalued ! Here's to a productive summer. GLA :-)

Thanks for your response Wolf, Some very valid points you make. There is sure to be a re rate here in the very near future. It seems Lidsey has been approved for another 10 years. Hopefully after the 22nd May council meeting, We will have OGA approval as the Balcombe operator. Then it will be full steam ahead with Balcombe and Brockham. Who knows, 35p may well look cheap in the not to distant future ? The mind boggles, It is sure to be a news worthy and exciting summer. GLA :-)

Wolf, What would have been your preferential method for raising the funds needed for Balcombe ? I'm curious to hear your views on a better deal available to Angus at this time. Thanks.

Same here, Tuned in to WSCC but nothing :-( LSE seems perfectly useable on the mobile, PC is none existent though.

No pleasing some, Best option all round. Their was a chance of this getting messy but at least now we know the money is available and the company can move on. Won't be long before positive steady news flow here. The tide will turn quite rapidly moving forward. GLA :-)

Why wolf ?

RealAnalyst, I've made money here top slicing over the last few years but my holding is currently also in the red. I am buying when I can as I feel this is a no brainer right here and now at this sp. I fully understand it's not ideal with the sp fluctuations or lack of positive movement. I did expect more positive sp movement from Lidsey ! However, For people to be on here slating and firing off at the company with regards to a placing that is a leak and they know nothing about it is ridiculous, Complete lack of research of their part. It's all contained within the company rns's in black and white. Sometimes, It's very easy to fly through RNS updates and not fully divulge the information. This is a positive bit of business gaining such an interest in Balcombe and I'm still actually in shock that Angus have managed to pull this deal off ! Let's see what develops once the placing is announced. You never know, The BOD may well take a big position...... Excited for the foreseeable here, Lots of news to materialise. GLA :-)

I really struggle with all the negativity here. This acquisition is completely transformational for Angus Energy going forward. There is some doubt that the timing could have been better but could it ? Look what awaits the company when the final raise is done, This will come good I have no doubt. Angus Energy Agrees to Acquire a 25% Interest in the Balcombe Licence (PEDL244) ( THE REMAINING WORK NEEDS FUNDED ) � Pay �2,000,000 following consent from the OGA for the Acquisition; and � Carry out and pay for the well test of a horizontal well test program of the Balcombe-2Z (the "Well") to achieve the following objectives: o Measure the Well flowing production rates for oil and natural gas; o Measure flowing bottom hole and wellhead Well pressures; o Determine the gas oil ratio (GOR) of production from the Well; o Collect and analyse Well oil, gas and water samples; and o Measure and record Well shut-in bottom hole pressure over approximately one month. Should the OGA not approve the Acquisition, the initial �2.0 million payment is refundable. The Company notes a fully approved test program of Balcombe-2Z Well will require minimal preparation as the Well is drilled and ready for testing. PEDL244 has been operated on a care and maintenance basis since 2013 with no production and limited costs. There are no assets, other than the Licence interest, associated with the Acquisition and the only liability is a restoration liability estimated at a gross amount of circa �200,000.
