Cheesy,
Perhaps you should be aware of how important Easter is to both Russia and Ukraine, the most significant religious holiday to both.
Easter (Orthodox Easter, or Paskha) is profoundly important in both Russia and Ukraine, serving as the most significant religious holiday of the year and a crucial anchor for cultural identity, family tradition, and national resilience. While both nations share Orthodox traditions, in the context of the current war, the holiday holds distinct meanings: for Ukraine, it is a symbol of endurance and hope for victory, while in Russia, it is integrated into the state's narrative of national identity and support for the war effort.
Russia isn’t winning anything at the moment in fact the momentum is edged towards Ukraine, so it could and should be argued that Ukraine has more to lose from a temporary ceasefire as it gives Russia time to regroup in the areas it’s losing land.
But again don’t let inconveniences such as facts get in the way of your rabid rants.
