Think the recovery could be much quicker than that, Ohmetoe, but we are all entitled to our own opinions and exercise our own judgement.

Think the question of the overhangs has been way overdone:

1/ it is clear Riverfort have taken their foot off the pedal, (it is lazy thinking to talk of "death spirals", it is quite obviously not in Riverfort's best interests to be associated with such an approach);

2/ given Canaccord's 5.4+% declaration, the last placing seems to have gone into firm hands, so, for the most part, that has not been the source of recent selling either;

3/ that leaves PIs and Tellurian, but Tellurian's holding is not infinite and, if they are the source of recent selling, then their overhang must have reduced significantly.

To date, unlike most other stocks, UKOG has seen no rebound from its lows: that rebound is fast-approaching, imho.

Don't know if there is good news around the corner, certainly hope so, but the decline of the share price has been way overdone, so, even without good news around the corner, the share is nicely-placed for a substantial rise.

There is nothing new in your "problems stacking up", everybody has been aware of the overhangs since the acquisition of Magellan was first announced last year.

What has been masked in the recent past, because of the coronavirus restrictions, are UKOG's prospects.

I am expecting the market to shift its attention to those prospects in the very near future.

You are entitled to your opinion, Backwoodsman, nobody is obliged to agree with you (or with me, for that matter).

There are those who speak of graphs, but the graph that really interests investors is the one for the next 2 years.

Suspect that, in 2 years' time, UKOG's present price will appear to be an aberration on the graphs produced then.

Substantial buying has continued all through the slide in UKOG's share price, but it has been outweighed by the even-more substantial selling.

If that selling is now easing off and the market becomes convinced the share price is heading back up, it will be interesting to see where the buying will take it.

There is room for a major rebound, isn't there?

The answer was that it was subject to negotiation with Riverfort and the solution found was a half-way house, with the loan being partly repaid in cash.

Clearly, therefore, Riverfort were in no hurry to have their loan repaid in full in cash.

That £10-15m valuation is for Saltfleetby and is conservative.

GL says he thinks the company merits a market cap of "at least" £10-15m, "if not the whole way", ie. to the CPR's mid-case valuation of £24-25m.

Because it was WH Ireland that orchestrated the placing. If Cannacord had gone direct to UKOG then why would UKOG need to pay WH Ireland to find placees?
