Just checked back to the 2017 accounts. Gives a figure of 2,249m for ordinary shares in issue.

So Dowgate Capital's 7p forecast represented a market cap of £157.5m.

I'm with you on that one, northfolk.

We've become accustomed to lack of news meaning bad news (BB, HH-2z water ingress), but, of course, that's just the way the cookie has crumbled, SS likes to keep his cards close to chest whether his hand is a good one or a bad one.

As Will suggested, to get the next placing away, he will be wanting to have a positive story to tell.

Not one for making specific share price predictions, but do think that Alba could be a little jewel of a company which is only now in the process of being discovered by the market.

I see the exercise of these warrants as being very positive. As you say, it puts money in the bank and bolsters Alba's capacity to further its plans.

There's more than £1m of warrants exercisable at 0.13p (£150k), 0.30p (£264k) and 0.32p (£700k) with more exercisable at 0.40p and 0.42p. See page 49 of the last annual report:

The principal constraint on Alba has been a financial one.

As a pre-revenue company, its lowly market cap has limited its access to funds and meant management has had to be very selective in its choice of annual investment programmes.

Alba's spread of assets is that of a much bigger company.

By getting behind Alba, the market is reducing that financial constraint and will help the company to accelerate the development of its projects.

Clogau is in the nature of a trophy asset - is there another mine in the world associated with gold commanding such a very significant premium to the international price?

The Company also confirms, further to our announcement of 14 August 2020, that the underground bulk sampling and drilling programme has now commenced. The Company does not expect to release results until following the end of the programme and once laboratory assay results have been analysed and assessed. The underground bulk sampling and drilling programme is expected to run for the month of September 2020, with assay results to be issued some time thereafter, depending on the normal timelines and workloads of the independent assay laboratory. I see GGP's market cap is about £830m.

A little of that money coming across to Alba on profit-taking would do no harm at all to Alba's share price!

Alba is undergoing a re-rating.
All of the elements were in place there, the trigger for attracting the market's attention seems to have been obtaining 2 permissions re their Clogau gold mine in Wales.
Imho, all of the elements are in place at ANGS, what will be the trigger to prompt the re-rating?

The warrants will also be subject to an accelerator provision, such that if at any time during the 24 month duration of the warrants the 10-day volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of Alba ordinary shares exceeds 0.26p per share, the Company may give warrant holders notice to exercise their warrants within 10 business days following the Company's notice and to pay the exercise price in full within 15 business days following the Company's notice, failing which the warrants will automatically expire. Looking at the warrants outstanding at 30/11/19 on page 49 of the last annual report, there are:
88m at 0.3p, which would raise £264k if fully exercised;
218.75m at 0.32p, which would raise £700k if fully exercised.
All of the above warrants have vested.
