Think it's an indication of Alba's confidence that it was this top-end-of-the-range figure which appeared in the article.

Exercise of the warrants means they obtain a tradeable security, it's entirely up to them, and their cash resources (!), what they then choose to do with their shares.

In all likelihood, you are right, but it isn't a 100% certainty.

They can exercise their warrants, doesn't necessarily mean they will sell the shares obtained, could mean they are simply preparing the ground to sell them, should the share price rise higher in the near future.

Maybe the warrant holder wants a bottle of champagne, too!

Think what the placing told us more than anything is that GL is doing all he can to limit the amount of new equity - £250k is a small amount.

It shouldn't be forgotten that market makers need volume in order to make money, so they move the price around in search of that volume.

The present share price IS low.

Two different things, the company and its share price.

At the company level, all is going even better than anticipated (underground drilling finding gold, trenching finding a 2.1m-wide quartz vein).
Communication with shareholders, too, is excellent.

The market itself will do what it wants to do, but, at some stage, will align itself with what the company is achieving and take account of its prospects.

Think you're forgetting that UKOG will continue to need to work with Surrey CC in the future.
