For myself, there was an imbalance between buy and sell orders, but that is the market. What the market gives one day, it can take away another.

I've not understood what clarification you seek, Yanis.

Somebody on twitter tweeted that parties have approached ANGS and offered to buy Saltfleetby from them and SEL, Angus have replied that they don't comment on market speculation.

If nothing has been agreed with any of the alleged parties, then I fail to see what more ANGS can say.

Think you are wasting your time, Yanis.

Quoted companies are under no obligation to respond to a tweet posted on twitter. If they were, there would be no end to RNSs all day long.

I expect ANGS are involved in discussions with other parties on a regular basis. If nothing concrete results from these discussions, then there is nothing to be communicated to the market.

How do you explain that there is not more buying of ANGS?

Without buyers, it takes little selling to deflate the share price.

Yanis, in their e-mail they stated that they don't comment on market speculation.

That is fair enough, isn't it? What else could they say in the circumstances?

FWIW, think a player is seeking to discourage holders by stopping the price from rising.

Why? In order to accumulate stock cheaply. If this is the case, then it is bullish (but not necessarily for today or tomorrow).

rumours can work both ways, they can inflate and then deflate a share price.

Lidsey dates back to before my first investment in Angus. I note this from Drill or Drop's coverage of the 30/11/21 RNS:

In 2016, the company had predicted gross oil production at Lidsey of 279 barrels per day.

Lidsey: opening a dialogue with the holder of the surrounding licence;
Balcombe: awaiting the appointment of an inspector to consider their case;

Angus is working to progress all of its portfolio of assets.

If the rumour had a significant impact on the share price of, say, 20%, then ANGS might be obliged to issue an RNS, but the impact on the share price isn't anywhere near that magnitude for the present, so I'm not at all sure any RNS is required from them.

The option was announced in the same RNS of 04/05/21 in which they delisted.

AAOG's option valued Saltfleetby at £32m back in its RNS of 04/05/21.

But that was before the rise in natural gas prices and the uplift of 54% in the amended CPR, so £40m looks to be understated to my eyes.
