There is nothing wrong with a placing per se, it's a means to raise new equity funding and to avoid borrowing.

It's all a question of the price at which the new equity funding is effected.

I have sold my shares in Angs. I think the finance deal including the hedging part of it is a ripoff. GL to all holders braver than me.
I sold them last Wed. 13/4/22, 28% gain. Any profit is a good one.

Personally, don't believe fracking has anything to do with UKOG except as follows: if the government can have 2nd thoughts about fracking, then perhaps it can ease the regulatory burden on conventional exploration, too.

Angus were unable to obtain reserve based lending for Saltfleetby, despite their CPR, because the sum they sought was insufficient. At the time, the international bank with whom they held discussions required a minimum size of $20m.

This is because it is a form of lending which requires quite an investment of time and expertise on the part of the lender.

Given Angus's experience, I would not count too much on reserve-based lending.
