Given GF is on GROC's board, he would have been fully aware that GROC would need to raise soon, too.

There are records of visible gold in the area now under water.

As identified in the Company's Interim Results announced on 30 June 2023, the Company is required to make a payment due under the derivative instrument of approximately GBP3.5 million by 20 July 2023 for financial hedges not settled in July and August 2022 due to late start-up of gas production at the Saltfleetby Gas Field. This Bridge Facility will meet this obligation as well as providing funds for existing and proposed capital, general working capital and operating expenditures around the temporary and permanent flowlines at Saltfleetby Gas Field. It just seems remarkable that, after the very long wait, the NRW's permit was only valid for conditions of average seasonal rainfall.

The obvious solution would be to insert in the permit a pre-condition such as: "assuming average seasonal rainfall ...".

They own 100% of Saltfleetby and have debt which is secured on Saltfleetby.

As part of the $25m (£20m) debt facility negotiations, they are looking to loosen some of those debt covenants.

More of a debt hill than a debt mountain, imho. They own 100% of Saltfleetby and Singhie's latest monthly gas revenue forecast was £1.865m so £22.38m annualised.
