The pipework for the permanent flowline is being fabricated for installation during September, with a goal of commissioning the new line in early October. This will remove significant costs associated with the current temporary flowline – rented equipment, manpower and waste disposal costs, making our operating costs significantly lower and competitive.

For myself, I think the UK is, in general, very, very tired of the Brexit debate and much more concerned by other matters: the cost of living, inflation, the war in Ukraine,, ...

As time passes, I suspect Brexit will become increasingly embedded ... and who knows what will happen within the EU in the coming years?

For myself, I take the fact that Angus "are talking to a number of potential lenders" (answer to yesterday's Investor Question) as a positive sign, that the potential funding is there and that ANGS, following the reconnection to the grid and the sidetrack, has been de-risked.

If this was an equity issue, I just wonder if we might not be looking at an oversubscription.

Opportunities arise from discussions. It was through the £12m facility that Aleph first became involved with Angus.

GL had been in discussion with an international bank for several months before they pulled out. The problem was the amount of the relatively modest amount of the facility, £12m, when the bank decided a minimum size of $20m was required in order to justify the time-expenditure of its team.

They are much better-placed to refinance now than they were when George Lucan negotiated the original £12m facility.

In addition, if you remember, one of George's problems at the time related to the relatively small sum he was looking to borrow. With a sum of $25m (£20m) involved this time, it looks as if the number of those potentially interested in lending has increased.

Total £3m of profit during the 2 mid-Summer months, looks pretty encouraging to me.

The Saltfleetby Field is now operating safely and reliably at production levels significantly above our committed hedge volumes. We are looking at strong free cash flow generation going forwards, once the permanent flowline from the B7 well is installed. This will allow us to pay down debt and strengthen the company’s finances. Angus is now strongly leveraged to gas prices, so any uptick in gas price as we enter the Winter months will have a big impact.

Plus, from GROC, its Preliminary Economic Assessment (hopefully).
