It isn't enough to encourage wind and solar energy, a great deal of money needs to be invested in the grid (GBP 90bn by 2031) and also, imho, in long-term storage.

Once the Motzfeldt acquisition is fully completed with the issue of Alba shares, GF will own 10.58% of Alba.

To date, it has all been about locating the gold.

Should the situation reverse, it will be interesting to see how they manage the release of gold in order to preserve as much as possible of the premium.

Most of GROC'S total net present value of $800m is located in the processing plant rather than in the Amitsoq mine itself.

Think it will be the same for Clogau with most of the net present value being located in the marketing of the gold.

Think the marketing activity should help to raise the overall rating of Clogau.

It looks as if both these steps have now been concluded.

Yes, continuing placings in the absence of internally generated revenue will put pressure on the share price.

But that doesn't explain why the market attaches a virtually non-existent rating to 100% ownership of the UK's largest historic producer of gold, a mine with links to the royal family supporting a very substantial premium for its gold by comparison to the spot price.
