One small quibble re your point 22): it's not just a bigger Angus KZ would like to see in a year's time, it's a MUCH larger Angus he would like to see.

2/ re mergers, from 25:17:

A reminder of how far adrift the share price has become. These were the terms of the warrants to be issued to the seller of the optioned lithium licences in the RNS of 24/04, 4 months ago:

... The warrants shall have an exercise price of 0.2p per share and be exercisable within 12 months from the date of grant. If at any time during the warrant exercise period, the 10-day VWAP of Alba ordinary shares exceeds 0.3p, Alba may give the warrant holders notice to exercise their warrants, failing which their warrants would lapse.

The ambition is there - from 17:50:

"What we're doing now is taking a look at a whole series of acquisitions which we can do ... and mergers".

Re mergers, from 18:05:

They've identified a market opportunity, a word KZ goes on to correct: "This is essential: companies HAVE to merge".

If they don't instigate the process, someone else will so let us hope they can start the ball rolling soon (but in negotiating appropriate terms, of course).

If they can establish a reputation for themselves for reducing unit costs via M&A activity, that alone will lead the market to rate them more highly.

Some of the pipes in the UK's gas transmission network are wooden!

Most of UK's LNG is imported from Qatar, less so from the US (my comment: the UK needs the Strait of Hormuz to remain open to shipping);

at about 16:00: blending condensate production with existing crude production "will increase our net-back considerably";

Re mergers, it is small UK stocks which constitute the hunting ground.

There are too many of them, about 300.

They are too small to raise debt finance. Cited Wood Mackenzie as saying: if a small oil and gas company wants to borrow, it should use its credit card.

At 26:03, in answer to the question about where he wants to see Angus in 12-18 months' time:

speaks of "major acquisitions" to double/triple production.

GROC's market cap is currently £2.53m of which Alba's 34.72% comes to £0.88m.

Alba's market cap is currently £3.40m.

Take out the £0.88m relating to GROC and Alba's gold interests are valued in the market at £2.52m (for the sake of simplicity, this calculation ignores Alba's interest in HH).
