Separately, Alba has also ordered a new iCON centrifugal gravity gold concentrator for the processing plant at Clogau. Designed to support the gravity recovery stage by concentrating fine heavy minerals from slurry using water and centrifugal force, the unit operates at 120-150 G, has a capacity of up to 3 tonnes per hour of solids, and is able to recover fine gold down to 400 mesh (37 microns). It is expected to add flexibility to the current setup and represent a significant upgrade on the present concentrator as processing work progresses. The unit is expected to arrive in the UK shortly and, once cleared and received, will then be delivered to and installed at Clogau. A further update will be provided once this has taken place.

I have no description of them whatsoever, this is not a story I have followed in any detail.

Haven't understood, Bubblepoint, have you looked at the cash flow statements which, as their name suggests, record the movements of cash, what came in and what went out?

ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD the point is, in the 2 years ending 30/09/25, they were not simply paying for OPEX from their revenue, both payment of deferred consideration and acquisition of oil and gas production assets constituting CAPEX NOT OPEX.

During the 18 months ending 31/03/25:

payment of deferred consideration totalled: £3.357m;

acquisition of oil and gas production assets totalled: £5.152m;

so, over 18 months, these 2 outflows from investing activities amounted to: £8.509m (figures from the cash flow statements)

If we take the 18-month figure for payment of deferred consideration and acquisition of oil and gas production assets of £8.509m and multiply by 4/3 we arrive at a 2-year figure of £11.3m.

£37.1m - 11.3m = £25.8m of revenue available after payment of deferred consideration and acquisition of oil and gas production assets.

The Trump effect, his pronouncements are clearly designed to keep a cap on the price of oil.

But, for the present, the Strait of Hormuz remains under Iranian control and very largely closed.

The Company anticipates that it will be in a position to publish the ARA very shortly, following which trading in the Company's shares will be restored. A further announcement will be made in due course.

Trump seems to have made the same mistake as Putin did in Ukraine and assumed the regime would collapse once the Supreme Leader was assassinated.

He and his team do not give the impression of having allowed for the regime's survival and its closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

Of course the company will be in loss, Grammama, but, without revenue, that will come as a surprise to nobody.

That in itself hardly justifies the word "damaging", not in my eyes anyway.

What will the outlook say?

Surely the damage was done in the overdue annual accounts released on 30/09/25?

Can't see why this last set of accounts should be particularly damaging.
