Have seen the current declines described as a "re-pricing of growth prospects".

Fair enough.

But there is a compensating adjustment to be made in terms of the outlook for interest rates.

To date, lower growth seems to be dominating. Would expect that to reverse and less-high-than-originally-expected interest rates to win out.
