Angus Energy Plc, the operator of the Brockham Oil Field under Production Licence ("PL") 235 ("Angus" or the "Operator"), has informed the Company that that due to early receipt of all necessary equipment, works at Brockham were started yesterday, three days ahead of the originally scheduled April 12th start date, as previously announced on 3 April 2019. The Operator has advised that all other guidance on Brockham remains unchanged.

If gas prospects were as dire as you suggest, then the 2018 figures would have been kitchen-sinked, so that all of the responsibility could be pinned on the departing CEO.

There is a persistent seller, agreed, maybe it's someone who appreciated Murat as CEO and was in a position to know he might be stepping aside.

He was the CEO of the RSA and the company is now in much better shape than when he became CEO.

It's a pretty decent dividend, which also looks to be very solid.

Let's hope Genel has now widened its audience to some of the income-chasing institutions.

On an annual basis:

15c at 1.305 = 11.5p.

On share price of 209p = dividend yield of 5.5%

The 10 cents is only the final dividend for 2018.

Had there been an interim dividend, it would have been 5 cents (interim = 1/3rd, final = 2/3rds) making for an annual dividend of 15 cents.
