Amapa research2 Oct 2019 21:58
@Ivybush. What's the extent of your Amapa research? Have you, like me, followed the rail track all the way back to the port and located the 3 iron ore stockpiles? Have you taken a good look round both from above and on the street?
I suspect we'll start to see an initial re-rate towards WHI's fair value once we get official confirmation that the preconditions relating to the railway licenses and bank creditor arrangements have been met resulting in us owning 20% of Amapa: this news is now imminent, and personally I wouldn't want to risk being out when that lands.
What I say to anyone who hasn't done their own research on Amapa, on what it bring to the company, it's potential to finally kick start our cadence in the rear, is to do it, do it now. The climb back to over a pound may not be as impossible or as far away as some here seem to expect...
And finally, I know I'm going to rub some up the wrong way in saying this, potentially even myself (!), but I have to admit that I currently have a mild bias towards the share price falling, despite holding many shares here. The reason being that I'm still buying strongly when funds become available and I'm gambling that the re-rate comes before the equity raise - which I now believe I've seen sufficient evidence to suggest it will.
Apologies to those who have to sell, but good luck to all those who've done their own research and have come to the same conclusion as me! As ever I (we?) could be very wrong, it wouldn't be the first time for me on this share and elsewhere - perhaps a placing is imminent, tomorrow even and I should have sold out completely and bought back in after that was out of the way. This is AIM after all, isn't that how it's supposed to work? ;-)
